Overview
A Processing Lab within a The Manmade Textile Research Association is a specialized facility dedicated to the development, evaluation, and optimization of various textile processing techniques. The lab supports both industrial R&D and academic research, aiming to improve process efficiency, fabric quality, environmental sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Functions:- Process Innovation: Development of advanced processing methods like low-liquor ratio dyeing, plasma treatment, or enzyme-based finishes.
- Testing and Evaluation: Analysis of fabric properties post-processing, such as dye strength using C.C.M.
- Sustainability Focus: Emphasis on water and energy-saving technologies, eco-friendly chemicals, and effluent reduction.
Provides consultancy, troubleshooting, and process improvement support to textile mills and manufacturers.
